McD Madness

A day in McDonalds. And when I say a day, it really is A DAY, as in 12 hours sitting there, get it?
So when the freaks eat, we eat the freak's way. Our way.

Our own burger with grape jam and ice cream. :D

Total ewness.. Coffee + pepper + chilli sauce + salt + sprite + pepsi + fries + godknowswhatelse

Actually there's more but the idea of taking picture didn't come up until almost the end of our little "recipe tryout". :( Ow well still we'll patent these recipes and earn big bucks when mcd decides to buy em over from us one day. D8

...

Weird.. :)

I want the best,
I'm trying my best,
yet should I be blamed,
for being too protective?
Am I wrong for
doing too much?

Left 4 Dead anyone?

Sometimes it sucks to feel being the one who's running non stop alone.

I'm not superhuman,
I can't do this alone.
I'm not asking for much,
just for once I really want to be
the one answering,
not asking.

Disturbed

Heck, this could be my last post for at least a couple of weeks.
Such a hectic schedule leading to test week and finals in a month.

Another sleepless night.
What am I suppose to do?
You appear everywhere I go.
I don't even think you know it
But how am I suppose to tell you then?
God I'm tired, stressed and going mad ...

If only I know what to do . . .

I've the best sister in the world

Second day going out with my parents.
Lots of walking around.
Got tired and pissed for some reason I myself don't know.
Bought more and more things.
Realised I spent more than rm1k in this 2 days.
Don't really know what I did with those money :S

Ah test week is coming and I'm done for. Retake retake. Bye bye everyone I'm gonna retake D:

2/60

Waiting for the right time. *ehem*

Am I "blinded"

This is for you Auntie Sue Ann :

Met up with parents after 2 months.
Got a haircut.
Waited 2 hours for a match.
Died a lil inside after the match.
Sitting here having a headache.

More than 5 sentence. 1 day down, 59 left to go. My day is done. Night.

You'll never know how much I wish to tell you what I really think of you.

Marriage is Love. Love is blind. Thus marriage is an institution for the blind.

Change? What change?

The world can end in a day,
Accidents can happen in a second,
One thing that is unable to change overnight is
Human

Someone once told me,
Never believe in 3 kinds of people :
Gamblers, Drug addicts and Game addicts.
I'm going to add in another :
Flirt.

People want pleasure, enjoyment and happiness,
When those are fulfilled,
Tell me
Why change?

That's why it's impossible for the 4 types of people
To change overnight.

Now tell me again :
360 degree change in a night
Qualifies a person as
"Changed"?

I'm a game addict,
I know how hard it is to stop doing it,
And I dare to say :

I don't.
Do you?

Random

Kinda busy these days.

Had to decide on which course to take for degree and where to go. Sigh.. Still no idea so I booked the room in INTI next sem in case I decide to continue here. If i don't, 250 bucks will be gone dang... I'll let time decide on that..

So, planning to draw something soon since I'm so freggin bored nowadays. Any ideas? Well I've kinda promised some people (you know who you are :x) to draw for them but I've been slacking too much. Portrait isn't something I'd take lightly, too much details too little imagination too much concentration needed. Maybe it's time to buckup and finish these 5 portraits.

On a side note, maybe what I need is Left4Dead to make me human again ahaha...

After some time...

Quite some eventful things came up yesterday.

Went to KLIA to send off Jean to Aus yesterday evening. Met with Yoo and Yuan after more than a year. (: There were me, Yong Bin, Karen, Jane, San, Hong Lin, Ko Meng, Yuan and Yoo. Well it's really nice to see them after such a long time, everything was kinda like old times. Nobody cried when Jean left tho :p.. She's coming back in June so till then all the best to her.

Before that there was this freggin downpour in INTI before we went to KLIA. Well I did hope for rain cause the weather is unbearable these days, but a blast like that is kind too much :\

I'll leave those as it is, the others would suffice with just memories and thoughts. (:

Photos are in ~

Top from left : Ko Meng, Yong Bin, Me, Hong Lin
Bottom from left : Karen, Jane, Jean, Yuan, San, Yoo

Before I go, some things to note :

1. I need pics from Yoo's camera.
2. Sarah Ng promised to come to INTI to visit us ONE DAY. It's already over a year :\

Where is the rain?

Valentines

This certainly has nothing to do with me. But since so many are celebrating it might as well jump in the bandwagon and wish everyone

~* Happy Valentines 2009 *~

Australian Bushfire

With the death toll from Australia's wildfires expected to exceed 200, state officials say they will rethink policies that allow residents to decide for themselves whether to evacuate their homes.
John Brumby, the premier of Australia's southern Victoria state, said the coroner has identified 50 bodies that haven't been added to the official death toll of 181.

"This is going to be a significant number. It will exceed 200 deaths," Brumby said.

The Country Fire Authority said Wednesday local time that the official tally of houses destroyed in the blazes, which began over the weekend, had risen to more than 1,000, from 750 earlier.
Some 5,000 people are homeless, and 2,850 square kilometres of land has been scorched.
Thousands of mostly volunteer firefighters were still battling more than a dozen fires across the state on Wednesday.

Officials believe some of the fires were deliberately set.

Australia's top law officer, federal Attorney General Robert McLelland, said anyone found guilty of lighting a fire that caused multiple deaths would face life in prison if convicted.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said late Tuesday "they should be allowed to rot in jail."

In some areas, authorities have sealed off towns because they are being treated as crime scenes that must be scoured for bodies and evidence.

Emergency teams moving into the towns burned out by the inferno have found charred bodies on roadsides and in crashed cars — grim signs of futile attempts to flee raging wildfires fed by 100 km/h winds, record heat and drought.

Meanwhile, some residents are beginning to return to their homes elsewhere.

"Where do you start? Where do you start?" said Peter Denson, who's returned to ruins in Kinglake.

"It's like a big atom bomb has gone off," said he of the town, where about 39 people died in the blazes.

In the midst of all these, a video of a thirsty koala bear being found by firefighters in the wilds became a hit. Being nicknamed Sam, the koala gulped down 2 bottles of water fed by one of the firefighters. Notoriously ill-tempered and aggresive, it became the mascot for this series of event haunting many Australians. Vid of the koala down below : ~:~:~

Issues

Hmm for the past week seems like Malaysia is into a new sort of political drama and a unnatural tug of war between parties eh. Well I'm not in the mood to talk about this but something related to it.

Found this very interesting article just a while ago. It's called :

Cry my beloved Malay soul by AB Sulaiman

An article which is very much speaks through most of Malaysians' mind nowadays I assume. An interesting person seeing that he realises vital points which many MALAYSIANS tend to avoid or just too stubborn to accept, eh?

Back in a while. Have a nice day everyone.

Bad start

Yeh came back to INTI yesterday. If the return this time holds any indication of how my 2009 is going to go on, then I'd say 2009 will be a freakin bad year cause I'm sick again. *grumbles* Was sick the last time I came back from the other holiday cause of contaminated water and I really don't know what's the cause this time. ._.

Ah.. Whatever.. Great pile of work to be done.. Assignment, test are up soon and I've done none ._.

And.................. Gotta decide which course to take for degree soon.. Another headache..

Crap......
If you tell a lie and keep on repeating it, people will eventually believe that it's the truth.

Happy Chinese New Year 2009

As topic~

Coming to the third day of CNY and I'm getting quite sure that it's going to be a not-so-memorable-cuz-nothing-eventful-happened celebration for me this year.. O well.. maybe nothing is blessing afterall.

Anyway truth is I kinda feel disconnected from most of the things in KT nowadays. Maybe it's just because I'm coming back in intervals of couple of month each time and time really pushing away my memories (dependance) somehow..

If you ask me what am I gonna miss most when leaving KT again in a few days I would say it's going to be my parents and then the TV (a lil :\) Don't even think of laughing about the TV thingy. TV is rare in INTI you know?! Get to INTI and camp there for a month+ like me and I swear you'll feel that TV is something you've never seen like 6234823471 years and maybe.... you'll forget how to use it. :D

Ah.. Well.. kinda messed up in teh brains now.. been sitting and running thru news etc for hours and the time is.. 3.16am... early huh...

So... Enjoy your celebration I guess.. (:

Who will it be?

The difference between a flirt and a whore is that the latter is out to get something out of you, idiot.

USA's 44th President

So, congratulations to USA for on 20th January 2009, the world saw the inauguration of their 44th President - Mr. Barack Obama.

A significant event for many, he is the first black (mixed) president in the US history. Note that when I mentioned the word "black", it doesn't contain any racist intent or whatsoever. Instead I just want to stress that the world is seeing a significant change of mindset especially in the US where they are able to push aside racial differences and come together to elect a president. This is a very admirable in terms that the US is the center of attention of the world and their ability to do so will certainly become the motivation and role model for other people in different countries the world to emulate.

Although this is just the pinnacle of the journey for Mr. Obama's presidency, the expectations are running high and feverish seeing that the world is expecting a depression worse than anyone can imagine in decades. Personally I don't think he is able to create any miracle in just a short time (to get things right), but given time he may be able to change things bit by bit. In times like this, optimism is a better choice than self deceit or finding faults of others. We'll see what he can do as time passes....

During his inauguration speech, a part of it really captured my attention. Below is the transcript of his speech :

"To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict or blame their society's ills on the West, know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy. To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history, but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist."

This excerpt truly is splendid in context. Very short and compact, yet very meaningful and accurate. Although he did not pinpoint any specific country, but give a little thought and I believe you will get on the same page as I am. *winks*

As the world gets more and more populated (maybe we could say "over"), so is the diversity of the people. Every country is diverse in culture and beliefs and the difference between a country's success also depends on how the people are able to live together, developing the country. A country will only be able to brave through adversities that lies ahead by not just changing the economic policies or law enforcements, but also social mindsets. As children of Earth, we are born as humans and nothing should stand in the way to differentiate us from other human beings. Only when a nation is able to stand together, tall and proud proving that they are able to put aside their social differences and walk through the passage of time as "a country" rather than "a race", then they are really to able to carve a glorious page in the books of history of their own.

As mentioned earlier, the people of USA showed the world that they are able to change their mindset as a nation and that is just a start. The hope is that it will inspire other countries to see things differently from now on as it has already been proven beyond doubt that advancement doesn't only come in the form of technologies or knowledge, but also the people's ability to accept others as a part of their own, or what we commonly term as -- Equality. The past serves as lessons that the mistakes should not be repeated and appreciation of our forefathers' achievements. Yet when the need to change is unavoidable, collective and rational consideration should be gathered so that the people do not fall behind others just for the sake of preserving the past, but in the end running in the face of reality, deceiving ownselves and just crumble in the face of never-ending changes.

Rules and laws are only as good when they are needed and able to live up to the function of protecting the people. However when these laws become outdated and even obstructing the progress of a nation, acts of clinging to it just for the benefit of a certain portion of the people will in the end harm the overall welfare of the country. To achieve greatness, the people of a country will have to unify in ideology and mentality, and to do so everyone must be EQUAL. No more, no less. Until this fact is truly being understood and carried out, there is no hope to stand as tall as any other nations, even more impossible to become a leader of leaders. The proofs are just across the sea, look at them and learn something from them.

Bottom line is, choose to deceive to your heart's intent because the world shall witness your act which will go down in the history books as the most humiliating act which will cancel out all that is built from scratch in front of your eyes, today.

"Know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy"

*winks* (:
